VOLUNTEERS ARE COMPENSATED FOR GASOLINE AND ANY OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY AN OFFICER OF THE ORGANIZATION.

.If any of the needs below are listed it means that the needs have not been met. When a Need is met it will be listed as needs met.

THis is a quick update as we just got our website up and running again because we switched hosting servers because the site was down for 6 months due to a breakup of the former hosting serving company. We are now on a new server and I have to mannually update and repair all broken links and upload all the photos again. When all is fixed or an additional need becomes emergent I will post it here and remove the Quick Up Date info.

How to help us help others now!. . The best way to help us help others is to make a support of funding, no matter how small it will help. Especially if you can make it a monthly pledge that we can count on each and every month to offset expenses of helping people.

Below are listed Emergent Needs Listed alpabetically By State with dates. Please check back to this page OFTEN so no one ends up homeless, or hungry, or continually abused.

Pennsylvania Sept 2004 NEEDS MET

1) An abused woman with five children which was formerly a Pa resident who moved to Texas and found her husband to be abusive after he struck her and broke her jaw while she was driving a car with her five children in the back seat. We found her an apartment, got her approved for Section 8. (Her move in date was April 1, 2006),  after we relocated her back to Pa (Her Mom, her & her five children lived with me for 2 & 1/2 years sharing my one bedroom apartment ( I Slept on the couch and the boy's all slept on air mattresses.)

See our listing at http://www.volunteersolutions.org under Baskets Of Faith where you can sign up to volunteer to help future clients in need!

2) Right now we are working on attaining a large enough site in Chester PA where those wanting to donate in-kind items for the Relocated Katrina Victims now Here in Chester PA 20+ falmilies, such as Used computers, non perishable foods, clothing, furniture, appliances, etc, items for disaster victims, the disabled and handicapped, the abused woman mentioned above, and other non-profits, schools, and religeous helping groups, etc, so we can give them to those in need free.

4) We are always seeking donated trucks in Pa for our missions use to gather donated items and distribute them to those in need. Until we get these vehicles needed donated, we need people to volunteer that have Vans, Pick-up Trucks, and box or cube vans to do whatever you can to help us accomplish all that is needed to serve those in need. We also accept working vehicles, cars to give to families in need such as the Katrina victims mentioned above. We had only one car donated so far by The Angelucci Family here in Pa which needs a few minor repairs before we give it to the family. We had to pay for registration, tags and insure it so it don't get impounded as an abandoned vehicle.

4) We always need PC Techs in the Delaware County area of Pa to help us repair our pcs and maintain them also to work on pcs that are donated to us in our Donate a PC Campaign that we give to children that can't afford them so they can do homework. We are seeking a site in Aston and one in Chester PA to set up a learning center so these children can access the internet to do their homework because many families simply can not afford internet access. Comcast said when the site is setup they will donate the online service to us for this program! So Donate any funding you can by going back to our homepage and scroll down and click on the Make A Donation Button.

6) Volunteers needed to launch a aluminum can drive in Delaware County Pa to help us raise funds.
