Our Mission is simply stated in Matthew
25:31-46 where Jesus said:
"Whatsoever you do unto the least
of these my brethren, you do unto me. If you do it not unto them, you do
it not unto me".
100% VOLUNTEER. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE GETS PAID A
SALARY.
VOLUNTEERS ARE COMPENSATED FOR GASOLINE AND ANY OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE PREVIOUSLY
APPROVED BY AN OFFICER OF THE ORGANIZATION.
.These events will raise funds to help the rizing number of people and families, estimated to be over 1.6 million people nationwide, that lost jobs due to the domino effect of Sept 11th & Katrina Victims. Without jobs and support from you, they can't pay rents and mortgages, and will end up homeless, as some already have. These are going to be scheduled at either Giants Stadium or Contenental Arena here in N.J. We are also planning smaller events at banquet halls and clubs raising funds for the concerts first mentioned. The original date was going to be in OCT 2001 but because of lack of funding we had to postpone it. Help us make this event come to a reality.We need $200,000.00 to secure the Arena for the one day event. We have commitments from Jeffersonstarship, Marshall Tucker Band, (Who both did a free concert at Sea Side NJ Shore on the Boardwalk where I did the closing prayer 4 days after Sept 11th 2001 during bike week) During that week, we raised funds to feed all the people stranded in airports due to the 9 week period that all flights were grounded in JFK, Laguardia, airports in NY, and Newark International Airport in NJ. We also have commitments from: The Happenings, Sinopoly, Angrytears, and Harmonytryx so far. Possible of also getting Larry Chance & The Earls! We're seeking others to join this hopefully annual event, especially if they originate from NJ. All those that contribute funding to help us pay to have these concerts, their names will be placed in a drawing for each event to win on stage and backstage passes and meet the bands backstage!
